I was born in Baguio City, Philippines, and some of my earliest memories include visiting Camp John Hay with my family. It was always a place that felt calm and grounding, surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air. Growing up, those visits became part of my sense of home. It was a space for slow walks, quiet moments, and family time. Seeing this photo brings back that feeling of nostalgia and reminds me how deeply those early experiences shaped my love for nature, travel, and meaningful places.

I spent much of my childhood and teenage years in Sasebo, Japan, moving through different stages of elementary school and eventually graduating from high school there. One of my favorite places was Huis Ten Bosch, a peaceful amusement park that felt more like a European village than a theme park. I loved walking through its wide paths, taking in the scenery, and simply enjoying the stillness it offered. It became a special escape for me. It was a place where I could slow down, reflect, and appreciate beauty in everyday moments.

I also lived in Okinawa, Japan during middle school, and that chapter of my life was filled with adventure. Almost every weekend brought something new: exploring beaches, discovering local spots, or just wandering with friends and family. Kokusai Street was always full of energy, culture, and color, and it perfectly captured the spirit of Okinawa. This image reminds me of those carefree days, the excitement of discovering new places, and how living abroad taught me to embrace change, curiosity, and connection wherever I go.
